Bettie Page was an American model who became famous in the 1950s for her fetish style and pin-up photos. Often referred to as the best pin-up girl, her look has become synonymous with pin-up and rockabilly style. She was an iconic pop-culture figure who influenced sexuality and fashion in the 1950s.
On my recent trip to Vegas, in the Planet Hollywood casino shops, a fabulous Bettie Page store is located. For those who need something a little bit vintage and a little bit modern, the styles are reasonably priced. Much of the fabric is a cotton/lycra combination - a familiar blend today that hugs the body and does not lose shape when washed. Their online website is also available to embrace your inner pin-up.
