LET'S GET A LITTLE "TOURIST"Y...

I recently saw the movie "The Tourist" starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.  The Venetian scenery was gorgeous just as we remembered it from our trip there a few years ago.  The film may not have been rated well nor well received but Jolie's clothes were stunning with a very strong vintage feel.  Jolie's hair was pulled back in sort of a 1940's style and her impeccable gloves looked very much part of her.  She was very sexy but still very demure at the same time.  She had the overall look of a woman who had a foot in the past and a foot in the present.

 

Jolie looked calm, cool, collected and very elegant.  She could have worn her hair in a more current updo or sleekly straightened.  But her character chose a loose bun that seems old for her age but really suits the vintage choker and drop dead  sexy gown. The chiffon at the shoulders is feminine.

Jolie's character was cool as a cucumber on a hot, Mediterranean day.  The clean lines of her wardrobe really enhanced that feeling for me.  This one won't win an Oscar, but I would highly recommend it to all who have the tourist in you and romance in your heart.
