I think we can all agree, there is something so cozy and comfortable about cotton. Cool, absorbent and easy to care for, cotton is the principle clothing fibre of the world.
Vintage ladies knew what they were doing when wearing cotton dresses during the day - particularly for housework. The dresses were easy to wash and clean up after a day of work. So speaking of work, after you ladies are done with your day at the office, wouldn't it be nice to come home and just slip on a comfortable cotton dress? I think so and do it all the time. Out of the office garb and into a housedress brings forth an anchored domesticity - that cocoon feeling we enjoy. A summer cotton dress with bare feet and a cocktail in hand....what could be more delightful?
