Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Auction

"My lifetime dream has been to assemble and preserve the history of the Hollywood film industry. Hollywood has been an enormous part of my life as I know it has been for countless fans all over the world.  This collection represents a lifetime of collecting Hollywood artifacts and this is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Hollywood History for those who love the movies as much as I do.  For the first time in nearly five decades, these iconic pieces will be made available to the public through a series of auctions presented by Profiles in History beginning in June 2011." Debbie Reynolds

Oh to be able to attend this auction! Well, don't we love the internet because you can indeed bid on spectacular items from Hollywood history. Visit Profiles in History to learn more.

Recognize this dress?
This the the infamous dress Marilyn Monroe wore in The Seven Year Itch. I can't even begin to think what kind of price this will fetch...as the bidding begins at $1 000 000!!!

Perhaps you would prefer a little bit of Richard Burton? From the movie Cleopatra.

The curtain dress made for the Von Trapp children in The Sound of Music, along with the guitar and dress worn by Julie Andrews.

1918 Model T Ford used by Laurel and Hardy

I'm pretty sure I can only dream about owning a little piece of Hollywood History, but just for fun, I've opened an account to bid online - wish me luck!
