If you were a teenage girl in the 1950s, you most likely had, or at the very least, wished for an Emma Domb dress. Specializing in prom gowns, formal wear and bridal wear, Emma Domb's company was based in California and did business until the 1970s. Teenage girls wanting to emulate their favorite movie stars could easily wear a Domb gown and feel a little like Hollywood glamour. Not too different from today!
