Blue is my absolute favorite color - always has been, ever since a child. So today's Friday Favorite is a deep navy blue linen swing dress from the 1950s.With little peach floral appliqueés and embroidery, it is the lining that is my favorite part of the dress. The acetate lining is a deep cranberry color and actually plays an important role in the color of this dress. Creating a unique glow under the semi-sheerness of the blue linen fabric, this makes my heart warm! Now available for $86.50.

That dress is adorable!
Oh that's gorgeous! It would be so sweet for spring!!
What a fantastic frock! It would make the loveliest birthday party outfit.
Those flowers have me smiling, I've a major soft spot for outfits (especially dresses) that are adorned with appliqués.
Thank you dearly for your wonderful comments lately, sweet soul! I truly hope that you have a serene and beautiful weekend!

What a lovely dress, perfect for the coming warm weather! xx
Thanks so much for following my blog :) This dress is beautiful, I love the colour. I think I might do a post soon on a vintage dress I bought off ebay to wear to my graduation a couple years ago so keep your eye out :) Also I found your posts on feminism and cothin ethics very interesting, definitely some food for thought.
